Rapunzel
Rapunzel's mother was unable to curb her hunger and appetite for the raisins growing in her neighbour's garden during her pregnancy. Her husband, however, was not strong enough to resist her. When he once again tried to steal the lettuce for his wife from a sorceress's garden, she caught him and made him promise her his child as punishment. Immediately after the birth, she took the newborn, gave it the name Rapunzel, and when the girl was twelve years old, she locked it away in a remote, doorless tower. The only way to get inside was for Rapunzel to let down her long hair from the skylight when called so that the sorceress could climb up and feed her. A king's son, attracted by Rapunzel's beautiful song, overheard her, imitated the sorceress's call, climbed up to the beautiful girl and won her love. But what happened when the witch realised this, why the king's son went blind and what Rapunzel's tears had to do with the king's son being able to see again, you can find out at this fairytale station.
