The Zoo del Fin del Mundo in Ushuaia, Argentina, is considered the southernmost zoo in the world and is nestled in the impressive landscape of Tierra del Fuego National Park, about 12 kilometres west of the southernmost city on Earth. It allows visitors to experience the unique flora and fauna of the sub-Antarctic region up close. The zoo is home to a variety of animal species, both local and exotic. Particularly noteworthy are the Magellanic and Humboldt penguins, which can be observed in enclosures designed to resemble their natural habitat. Visitors can also see condors, falcons, albatrosses, guanacos, foxes and various South American reptiles. All exhibitions are designed to convey the importance of nature conservation and raise awareness of the ecological diversity of Tierra del Fuego.

In addition to the animal enclosures, the zoo offers guided tours that provide interesting insights into the history of the zoo and the animals' way of life. Observation stations allow visitors to watch the animals in their natural behaviour, while hiking trails lead directly from the zoo to the surrounding forests and coastal landscapes of the national park. Visitors can thus intensively experience the special combination of culture, nature and wildlife in Tierra del Fuego.

As part of Tierra del Fuego National Park, the zoo uniquely combines education, entertainment and conservation, offering an unforgettable experience for anyone who wants to discover the southernmost region of the earth. Its location and diversity of animal species make Zoo del Fin del Mundo an essential destination for nature lovers, families and travellers seeking an authentic sub-Antarctic adventure.
