E-World in Daegu, South Korea, is an exciting destination for amusement park fans, combining modern entertainment with Korean flair. The park opened in 1995 and is located at the foot of the 202-metre-high Woobang Towers, which serve as the landmark of the area. One of the highlights is the Mega Swing, one of the largest pendulum attractions in the country, which catapults brave guests to dizzying heights. Roller coaster fans will also get their money's worth: the wood-steel hybrid ride ‘Camelback’ and the looping coaster ‘Boomerang’ provide adrenaline rushes. More family-friendly attractions such as the Skyline Plaza and leisurely roundabouts round off the offering. The seasonal festivals are particularly popular – in spring, cherry trees in bloom transform the grounds into a photographer's paradise, while in winter millions of lights bathe the park in a sparkling fairy-tale atmosphere.


In addition to the rides, E-World also offers a wide selection of shows, restaurants and Korean snacks. Visitors also appreciate the affordable combination tickets, which include admission to the Woobang Tower – from up here, there is an impressive view over the metropolis of Daegu. Thanks to good underground connections, the park is also easily accessible for international guests.


Anyone travelling to South Korea and looking for a varied amusement park experience should definitely plan a visit to E-World. The mix of thrills, atmosphere and local charm makes the park a real insider tip away from the big parks in Seoul.
