Happy Wonderland in Budapest is the only temporary Advent amusement park in the country, transforming an area of the City Park (Városliget), not far from the castle grounds of Vajdahunyad Castle, into a magical winter wonderland. It offers a unique blend of classic Christmas market flair and an exciting fairground for the whole family.


This special place focuses on reviving the traditional fairground feeling and attracts visitors with a variety of entertainment options that appeal to both nostalgics and adventure seekers. The festive atmosphere is enhanced by tens of thousands of LED lights, which contribute to the winter atmosphere and create an enchanting backdrop. The combination of traditional fairground attractions, modern light installations and the festive atmosphere of the Stadtwäldchen makes Happy Wonderland an exciting destination in the Hungarian capital, which is open during Advent and the holidays until January. Admission to the grounds is free of charge, but the individual attractions must be paid for with tokens, which can be purchased at the ticket office. Happy Wonderland offers an unforgettable winter experience in Budapest.
