Founded in 1973 as a wildlife park, it only survived until 1978.

Various restructurings, sales, and reorientations led to it becoming the property of the Six Flags Group in 1999. The park has had many names, including Largo Wildlife Preserve, Wild Country, Wild World, and Adventure World.


The park now offers a wealth of attractions. From gentle carousels to wet water rides and thrill rides, there is something for everyone. A water park is also included in the admission price. Perfect for warm summer days!


The park closed permanently on November 2, 2025.
