Welcome to the big annual Visitor Award 2022.

You have certainly followed our awards diligently and have always been informed about which parks were the most popular with our Freiezeitparkcheck users.

But now the big year-end accounting is coming up and we are now calculating our visitors over the whole year 2022.

Starting from January 1, 2022 until December 31, 2022.

We do this to also give due consideration to the parks in the southern hemisphere, because auhc there we have a large fan base that diligently visits the parks there. Now, however, the parks have their peak season in the winter and in order to maintain equal opportunities, we will consider the entire year.

You are certainly curious which parks will take home the big golden FPC-Visitor Award in the end.

Of course, first of all we want to explain how our calculation works: All users are counted who activated the localization of our theme park app and thus entered one of our listed parks in 2022. Each user is only counted once. Even if he visits the same park several times, it will be counted as only one visit for each user.

And now to the top 10 of 2022:

Rank 10: Heide Park (DE):

Heide Park has been a regular contender in our monthly Visitor Award rankings and so it's no surprise that the park is also included in the top ten overall, even if it's unfortunately only good enough for 10th overall this time. Nevertheless, this is a great success and we congratulate the park!

9th place: Holiday Park (DE):

The Rhineland-Palatinate Holiday Park was only in September the first time not represented in the top ten. So of course it is clear that the park with Expedition GeForce is also ranked in our annual overview. We congratulate warmly for the 9th well-deserved place on our honorary stage.

8th place: Efteling (NL):

The popular amusement park in the Netherlands also regularly ranks high in our awards. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough for the podium in the overall ranking. This may be due to the fact that park visitors visit the park several times a year, but are only counted once here. But even the 8th place in our ranking is respectable and of course gets a lot of praise from us.

7th place: Tripsdrill (DE):

Tripsdrill is also a regular here and has been represented here monthly since May. Such regularity pays off and is rewarded with 7th place in our annual list. We also congratulate the park, which enjoys great popularity with the recently opened roller coasters and therefore attracts many visitors several times.

6th place: Toverland (NL):

This Dutch magic land is also already an old acquaintance here, has not missed a single time since March. A park that is open all year round and was able to celebrate real visitor records this year. After all, the one millionth visitor within one year could be welcomed by Toverland. And so we also welcome and are very happy that Toverland got our place 6.

Place 5: Nigloland (FR):

We are so slowly approaching the podiums now present on the 5th place another European park, which also always regularly keeps in our top ten. Nigloland offers entertainment for the whole family, which is its secret recipe for the very good rankings here again and again. We therefore also congratulate here on the very good performance in the annual comparison 2022

4th place: Warner Bros. Movie World (AU):

And located in Australia we have a real highflyer, after our Australian parks also only really got going from the middle of this year, we now have a large fan base down under. And they have pushed this beautiful park to 4th place in the annual comparison and achieved an excellent result. Here we are excited to see how the development continues, because already in January the Australian parks will play a big role in our awards.

So ends our service of the FPC-Visitor Awards for the year 2022 and we are already quite curious how the data will develop in 2023 udn whom we may welcome at the end of january as the first on the front places.
