The Ibbenbürener Kirmes is a funfair in Ibbenbüren that takes place every year on the first weekend in September. It is the third largest town centre fair in North Rhine-Westphalia and the largest folk festival in the Tecklenburger Land region. Around 300,000 people visit the festival every year.
