Hey Leute!

Once upon a time ... MOTHER HOLLE

Once upon a time there was a woman who had two daughters: Hennie and Hanneke.
Hennie was lazy and uninterested. Hanneke was nice and eager.

One afternoon, Hanneke sat secretly by the well and wept.
She worked on a spinning wheel.
Because of the tears, she did not really see what she was doing and ... Oh dear!
One of the spools of the spinning wheel slipped out of her hands and fell into the well.
Hanneke looked in the well, lost her balance and fell into it.
She came to a beautiful meadow. At the edge of the meadow stood a bakery.
As Hanneke passed by, she heard hundreds of voices. "Take us, take us, otherwise we will burn here."
These were the breads that were baking in the oven.
She took the loaves out of the oven and went on.
A little further, there was a tree. "Girl, pick my apples, my branches are so heavy!"
"Of course," said Hanneke, helping the tree.
Then she came to a cottage. "Hello, my name is Mother Holle, do you want to stay for a while
with me? I could use a good help. "
Hanneke decided to help the woman as well. "You have to shake my bed out every day.
So heavily that the feathers fly around. When that happens, it's snowing somewhere on earth. "

After a while Hanneke got homesick and went back home.
As a reward for her caring and help, she was overloaded with gold.
Her mother was very happy that Hanneke was back home, but her lazy sister was jealous.
The following day, Hennie decided that she could jump into the well.
If it was that easy to get gold! But will a lazy girl like her become the same reward from Mother Holle?

Whenever Mother Holle shakes out her pillows, it's snowing in the world.
Will she drop a few snowflakes on your visit too?
