The big spring fair takes place directly on the banks of the Rhine at the Tonhalle. If the attractions at the fair are not enough for you, you can finish off with a short detour to the "longest bar in the world" in the old town next door.

In Upper Bavaria near Tegernsee there is a mountain coaster by Brandauer, a climbing forest and also a playground. There is also a restaurant on site. In winter you can ski here, so the mountain coaster is built only in summer.

The Salzgitter-Lebenstedt City Festival is the largest public festival in the city and is considered one of the largest funfairs in the region between the Harz Mountains and the Heath. It traditionally takes place on the third weekend in August.

The City

The Easter market has its origins in the Napoleonic era, when Mutterstadt was the cantonal capital, and today takes place as an amusement market from Easter Saturday to the Tuesday after Easter on the Messplatz.
