The Kalte Markt traditionally takes place at the beginning/middle of November. The original cattle fair was first mentioned in documents in the 12th century. In the meantime, it has developed into a large local festival with more than 100,000 visitors.

75 animal species, some native, some exotic, live in the Wildlife Park Belgium or Parc animalier de Bouillon, as the locals would say. In the middle of the Belgian Ardennes you will find alpacas, Asian water buffalo, brown bears and camels.
