The Winterberg Fair is a traditional folk festival that is considered one of the highest-altitude fairs in North Rhine-Westphalia. It takes place annually in August and transforms the central fairground ‘Am Rad’ into a lively festival site.

The festival

Since 1979, Trowunna Wildlife Park has existed in Mole Creek, about 40 minutes south of Devonport, 45 minutes west of Launceston and 75 minutes east of Cradle Mountain. Trowunna covers an area of 85 hectares and is characterised by its natural vegetation
