It all began in 1960 on US Route 1 in Saco, Maine next to the mini-golf course that opened in 1959: a drive-in snack bar called Marvel Drive-In was built here. In 1967, Funtown USA was born and a Zipper ride was one of the park's first attractions.

As every year, the first weekend in September is all about the September market on the market square in Oudenaarde. 10 days of fun, 10 days of partying and 10 days of eating oliebollen.
