One of the oldest cities in the world, Armenia's capital Yerevan, is home to one of the youngest zoos in the former Soviet Union. After planning began in the 1930s, the main construction of the zoo began in May 1941 on a total area of around 3 hectares.

Every year at the end of April, the Remscheid Shooting Club invites visitors to the May Fair on the Schützenplatz in the city park. Visitors can enjoy the many fairground rides, games stalls and catering outlets.

We are expecting around 120,000 visitors to our various events and offers, who will celebrate our children's and local festival together in the usual exuberant and peaceful atmosphere. We are well prepared for this.
