Five days of funfair fun at Prinzenplatz and in the city centre

At the beginning of May, the time has finally come again: 55 showmen transform Prinzenplatz and the adjoining town centre into a colourful funfair and offer an exciting supporting programme.

The traditional fairground festival at Whitsun, organised by the Thüringer Schaustellerverein e.V., takes place here every year. Hermann Brill Platz, better known as the stadium forecourt, is a central car park, but is also used as a camping site.
