In 1880, the municipal council decided that the three fairs held simultaneously on the Grand Place, the Place des Martyrs and the Marché-aux-Grains should be combined into a single large fair to be held on the Boulevard du Midi at the beginning of July.

The Reinholdi market has been held on the first weekend in October in the Pottenhausen district since 1928. Around 250 showmen will be on site on a fairground of approx. 30,000 m². The number of visitors is currently around 200,000.
