Twice a year, the large folk festival takes place on the Square of Friendship between Peoples.

The Zetel market is probably one of the best-known and most traditional folk festivals in north-west Germany and will once again attract visitors from all over the region. For four days, Zetel will be the centre of Frisian lifestyle and joie de vivre.

In Bavaria in the Allgäu, a mountain with various possibilities awaits you, including a zipline and an alpine coaster. Here you can also ski in winter. There is always something to experience here, whether summer or winter.

In 2023, the German-American festival will be revived on the former airfield site near Pfaffengrund (Heidelberg). The origin of this festival was the Patrick Henry Village, about 4 km away. Numerous showmen and a great supporting programme is announced.

The funfair takes place on the Koekoeksplein next to the Crimpenhof shopping centre.
