Bruck likes to celebrate a lot! The Bruck folk festival marks the start of the festival season in the town. Our traditional festival is known far beyond the city limits and attracts many guests to the Volksfestplatz every year.

The Kalte Markt traditionally takes place at the beginning/middle of November. The original cattle fair was first mentioned in documents in the 12th century. In the meantime, it has developed into a large local festival with more than 100,000 visitors.

It all began in 1960 on US Route 1 in Saco, Maine next to the mini-golf course that opened in 1959: a drive-in snack bar called Marvel Drive-In was built here. In 1967, Funtown USA was born and a Zipper ride was one of the park's first attractions.
