The first fair in Pforzheim after the Second World War took place in 1947. The fair was first established at the "old Messplatz" on the eastern side of the city and from 1953 to 1959 in the Stadtgarten, and since 1960 the "Pforzemer Mess" has been set up

On the first weekend in September, it's time for the Moers funfair, which attracts around 400,000 visitors to the city of the counts.
