There is a lot to experience in the Ore Mountains. Both in summer and in winter. In the summer there is, among other things, an alpine coaster, tire rushing, playground and much more. In winter you can ski here and also use the Alpinecoaster.

In Mönchengladbach-Rheydt, spring is welcomed with a truly traditional event: the Frühkirmes (early fair) on Grachtplatz. As soon as the days get longer, this central location in the Rheydt district is transformed into a vibrant world of experiences.

The huge amusement park, 6 festival tents, traditionally called ‘Hütten’ in Karpfham, with around 19,000 seats, the Rottal Show and the performances of the famous ‘Rottaler Zehnerzug’ attract almost half a million visitors to Karpfham every year.
