If you drive about 50 kilometres south from Koblenz on the federal motorway 61, you will inevitably come to the town of Rheinböllen. In 1976, the Hunsrück Game Park was opened there. Only a few years ago (2020) it was renamed the Rheinböllen Zoo.

The Freiburger Mess' (Freiburg Fair) is held twice a year on the Neuer Messplatz. The Frühjahsmess' in May and the Herbstmess' in October. Over 110 showmen provide lots of fun and a good atmosphere.
