The Stoppelmarkt in Vechta is one of the oldest markets in northwest Germany. It was already mentioned in a document in 1298. The market got its name from the stubble fields (harvested cornfields) where it was once held when the plague raged in Vechta.

With over 30 showmen and 5 food stalls, a varied programme awaits you at the Kehl Easter Market. On the second Saturday, the showmen will thank you with a big fireworks display.
