The largest funfair in Münsterland takes place three times a year. Every year, up to 200 fairground attractions take place on the 32,000 square metre Schlossplatz. A big fireworks display on Friday evening is always part of the event.

This year's Gesmolder Kirmes is a mixture of the new and the tried and tested, with around 130 showmen and women taking part as usual. In addition, the local innkeepers and a number of clubs have once again joined in to make the fair a complete success.

A fun day out for young and old: the funfair in Tegelen on Wilhelminaplein and Plein 1817.
