In the Hanseatic city of Stralsund, located in the north-east of Germany in the federal state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the Ozeaneum, which belongs to the German Oceanographic Museum Foundation, has been located on the harbour island since July

The funfair in Mulhouse is one of the five largest funfairs in France and the largest funfair in Alsace. Approximately 200 showmen with many large attractions are represented on the grounds of the Parc Expo. Approximately 400,000 visitors are expected.

The funfair in Turnhout takes place in August on the Grote Markt and the Zegeplain. With around 70 attractions, there is a very large selection on offer.
