Since 1962, the folk festival has been held on the fairground at the ESC site. Annually changing rides and attractions provide variety, and the festival hall is there every year. There, changing bands provide the necessary atmosphere every day.

The animal and plant park Fasanerie, which is run by the state capital Wiesbaden, is located in the city forest in the north-west of the Hessian state capital. The 23-hectare site, which was opened in 1955, is currently home to around 250 animals of 50
