Frankfurt Zoo is the second oldest zoo in Germany. Here you can discover up to 4500 animals from 450 species. There are many animal houses, so that you can visit the zoo even in bad weather.

The City

In Anif, just a handful of kilometres south of Salzburg, lies Salzburg Zoo. Opened in 1961 as the "Alpenzoo Hellabrunn", it has also been called the zoo or Zoo Hellabrunn over the years. The zoo itself is home to animals of around 150 species, divided
