The Winterberg Fair is a traditional folk festival that is considered one of the highest-altitude fairs in North Rhine-Westphalia. It takes place annually in August and transforms the central fairground ‘Am Rad’ into a lively festival site.

The festival

Since 2006, there has been a Wiegand mountain coaster in Latemar, about 30 km from Bolzano. It is over 700 meters long. You can also go hiking in the region in summer and skiing in winter.
