The first big spring market of the year in the Emsland-East Frisian region takes place in May on the Untender market square in Papenburg. The traditional May market opens its doors to all visitors who fancy a funfair.

When the days slowly start to get longer again, the fun comes to town. The Datteln Spring Fair takes place on Neumarkt and Schützenplatz - with Sunday shopping. As usual, there will be reduced prices on Monday, which is traditionally a family day.

The Trinity Fair traditionally takes place in Dülmen on the weekend after Whitsun. From Friday to Monday, more than 70 showmen will once again bring fun, action, entertainment and enjoyment to Dülmen.
