The Nordhorn Zoo opened its doors in 1950 and is home to around 100 animal species on an area of around 12 hectares. In addition to domestic duck birds, you will find Amur leopards and large maras in the South American enclosure.

In Bischofsgrün, around 27 kilometres north-east of Bayreuth, you will find the Ochsenkopf cable cars. You can experience a lot here. There are cable cars, an Alpine coaster and you can also go hiking.
