Kirw Sunday is always on the 2nd Sunday in August. The Hülzweiler fair ('Helzwella Kirw') begins on the Saturday before and ends on the Wednesday after. Johannes Knoll, known as "Kirwenhannes", rules the village of Hülzweiler over the 5 days.
