Twice a year, the festival grounds on Dreizehnerstraße are in a state of emergency. It's a folk festival. Of course, there are many showmen on site who will thrill you with their rides and spoil you with their culinary offerings.

In 2023, the German-American festival will be revived on the former airfield site near Pfaffengrund (Heidelberg). The origin of this festival was the Patrick Henry Village, about 4 km away. Numerous showmen and a great supporting programme is announced.

Unfortunately only open for 2 months in summer, but then like any other water park with several slides and fun for the whole family.

The park also offers many other activities, such as boating and karting.

The fair or carnival market in Halle is one of the larger of its kind and takes place on the Stationsplein, the Leideplein, along the Leide, the "De Bres" car park and the Possozplein.
