Originally started as a pancake restaurant (for Berliners: egg pancakes), Speelparadijs Pannenkoekenhuis, located about 15 kilometres east of Apeldoorn in the province of Gelderland, has developed into a small theme park for families with young children.

Since 1962, the folk festival has been held on the fairground at the ESC site. Annually changing rides and attractions provide variety, and the festival hall is there every year. There, changing bands provide the necessary atmosphere every day.
