It all began in 1960 on US Route 1 in Saco, Maine next to the mini-golf course that opened in 1959: a drive-in snack bar called Marvel Drive-In was built here. In 1967, Funtown USA was born and a Zipper ride was one of the park's first attractions.

Every year in spring, the Rigal'schen Wiese in Bad Godesberg hosts the big funfair with lots of rides and games for young and old as well as many stalls with tasty treats.
