It all began in 1960 on US Route 1 in Saco, Maine next to the mini-golf course that opened in 1959: a drive-in snack bar called Marvel Drive-In was built here. In 1967, Funtown USA was born and a Zipper ride was one of the park's first attractions.

The amusement park with rides and fun and games stalls can be found on the Landungsplatz on the Main. On the market square, the Kerbetreff offers a colourful stage and entertainment programme.
