Every year in May and November, the Minden fair takes place on Kanzlers Weide and brings lots of fun, scares and entertainment to the banks of the Weser. Cult rides, a variety of gourmet treats and special novelties ensure an adventure for everyone.

The funfair runs through the entire city centre of Alkmaar, including directly along the canal. A total of almost 80 attractions for young and old delight visitors. The funfair ends on Sunday with a spectacular closing show.
